12. Analytics, Cookies, and Advertising

12.1 In-App Analytics

We use analytics services to understand app usage and improve our services. We may also use advertising platforms to market our app to potential users.

12.2 In-App Advertising

The free version of the app shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Ads appear in two forms:

• Interstitial ads. Full-screen ads shown at natural breaks in the app, such as when you finish a lesson, a phrase exercise, or a typing-trainer session. These are not user-initiated — they appear automatically as you move on from a completed activity.
• Rewarded ads. Optional ads you choose to watch in exchange for a benefit, such as extra translations. These are only shown after you tap to start them, and you can decline or close one without losing anything you already had.

To serve, measure, and where permitted personalise these ads, Google may process your device's advertising identifier (the Advertising ID on Android, the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, and information about how you interact with the ads. Google acts as an independent controller of that data. 12.3 Your Advertising Choices

• Subscribe to Pro. The app does not request or show interstitial or rewarded ads to Pro subscribers.
• On iOS. We ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before your Identifier for Advertisers can be used for tracking. You can change your answer at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Declining means the ads you see are non-personalised rather than absent.
• On Android. Settings › Google › Ads lets you reset or delete your Advertising ID and turn off ad personalisation.

12.4 Website Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies:

• Essential cookies. Cookies such as the session cookie and the CSRF security token are required for the website to function securely (for example, protecting forms against forgery). They do not track you across sites and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies (optional). With your consent, we use Google Analytics (cookies beginning with "_ga") to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. These cookies are only set if you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner; if you decline or make no choice, no analytics data is collected and no analytics cookies are set. 12.5 Managing Your Cookie Choice

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer, and you can delete cookies through your browser settings. Declining analytics cookies does not affect your use of the website.

12.6 Spam Protection (reCAPTCHA)

Our website contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA may process your IP address and browser behaviour for this purpose. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

12.7 Fonts and Content Delivery

To load the website quickly, fonts and static assets are served through privacy-friendly content delivery networks (such as Bunny Fonts and jsDelivr). These providers process your IP address solely to deliver the requested files and do not set tracking cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
